I would expect that one of these days someone will be smart enough to design a striker-fired pistol with a decent trigger (as in 1911 style single action trigger). It will take someone with a new approach to this, since almost all of the new-fangled neither double action nor single action striker fired pistols have crappy triggers with long pull and/or heavy and/or inconsistent pull/creep and less than great reset.

Based on the appearance of that new trigger, it looks just like the rest of the less than brilliant designs out there.

I view the solo as not much more than another marketing ploy by a company with a good reputation of building excellent firearms.

I will remain skeptical until I actually am able to fire one.

As with all of these new-fangled striker fired guns, sure you can hit something with it, but the pinpoint level of 1911 style precision is lacking solely because the trigger is lacking (you can get good at firing these guns, but overcoming the trigger is a pain in the ass).

I will be shocked and amazed if I see you post pics of a Kimber solo that you own in a place that is obviously not a store front.

Dude I own silly overpriced guns like the Bushmaster ACR, FN SCAR, SIG 556 Classic SWAT and an UZI and you doubt my willingness to buy unnecessary overpriced guns that I will only be able to shoot once a year just because I think they look cool? Lol

Besides - that gun is probably pretty cheap, can’t be more than a grand right, so why not buy one? I really don’t understand why it is such an unbelievable thing that I would buy a gun that only cost a G.

Nice little hideaway gun....it looks to be about as big as my Cobra .380 but it is probably a bit lighter.
