The only good knife for "survival" is the one you have with you. Sometimes that is a folder. Hell, sometimes it is the one you made from a can or rock. Nothing wrong with carrying a folder.

And a folder with the design/materials that are available now approaches a fixed blade in strength, and can surpass one for availability. The one we are so rabid for here certainly presents some great innovations in design that make it a good tool to increase chances of survival when the fixed blade is safe at home, or in your vehicle.

Cheers back atcha, and thanks for the welcome.

Thanks also to RYP for the news that the 250 will have dibs on new products. That is great news.

Those of you that have reservations with me for the HEST Folder on the first run, check your email. Some of you on the first part of the 2nd run also received an email. Hurry... There is some GOOD news!

So can anyone (like RYP, for example) direct me to which thread I should be checking for updates on sanitized LE #186? I don't want to keep bugging the folks at DPx with a personal question about info that affects us all. Thank you. I will accept help on this from anyone.

RYP,

Could you let us know which distributors the first production run went to and when the second production run will go out?

Thanks,

Got word today from Linda that the LE's will ship out of Italia tomorrow. Then to RYP and eventually, hopefully me, finally.

Don't know exactly. My best guess is that they will be in our hands around the end of Feb or beginning of March.
