The other thing about those side ballistic inserts that that [and a bunch of other companies are making] that doesn’t make sense to me is - considering how good the level 7+ Commercial Armored Vehicles and the Military’s Heavily Armored Vehicles are these days about the only thing that will punch through one is an EFP, that shit would [most likely] smoke everyone inside so the side ballistic inserts would not really be much help

Maybe they would be good for a Turret gunner

So, after several months of training with this thing, I'm 50/50 on it.

Good kit for:
Turret work. (as mentioned)
CQB/CQC/Urban Ops

My FOV wasn't hindered as much as I thought it was going to be.

Bad kit for:
Just about everything else. I wouldn't want to hump/patrol in it. Tac headsets can be a delicate balancing act. Etc..etc..

So....like women, kit is always best to have several different versions of. I won't be ditching it, just adding it to the harem.
