Anyone come across the car chase scene in Bullitt? The route?

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

I am not sure why, but I think the USA needs to get rid of its "unbelted passenger" safety test requirement.

I remember in the mid 1980s being told by reasonable people that seat belts would kill you because they would prevent you from the life saving "being thrown clear" from the car. Now anyone who does not think that is nonsense deserves to be "thrown clear" from a car but the rest of us and auto manufacturers have to suffer because of a government mandate to protect people dumb enough to still think that way.

Maybe that would give us cooler stuff here? It most certainly would increase fuel economy for the consumer.

I've been watching that show. I want it to be more of a mystery but it has mostly been a "cop show" but I did notice the Mustang fastback and said "hmmmm...Bullit".

That color of green needs to be on more cars. I get annoyed with the variants of silver these days. I am still debating between getting British racing green or dark blue for my Morgan (the car that will never be built apparently). If I ever got a Porsche Cayman I would get it in turd brown (or Mocha as they call it) just because it is a proper color and I suspect it is not a very popular one.

Added to my streaming list. I hate the new Challenger/Charger or the 300. What a boat. But I've never been a Mopar guy. The Hamster should have gotten a new Mustang the last time they made a visit.

I know you are planning to move to L.A. and there is Morgan dealership in Santa Monica...maybe do a visual cue to see what fits. I am for one of the classic colors for the Brit cars - British racing green.

I'm certainly anticipating how they are going to shoot it. San Francisco filming community is hurting and this has only helped, so i'm sure they are getting the support they need to pull this off. When I spoke to Loren Jane... the original driver, he claimed it took 6-7 weeks to shoots. Considering there are 6-8 locations from what I recall...

I just started streaming Alcatraz a couple of days ago. Interesting premise and I always like a good cop show.
