Nice shooting , but it looks like a canned hunt.

So what, you some kind of pinko pig loving purist hunting snob? It's better than a captive bolt and not everyone has the time or land to be able to chase after hogs in their 4 x 4s to their heart's content.

Currently I'm using a knife after I fatten them up a bit.

Nurture my hog.

Excellent shooting. This guy is 100% correct that you need a gun that fits you well or you won't shoot very well.

A good friend of mine has a Sig or Sauer boltie in .308 Winchester. Sadly I have not shot it. I do not know which model it is, but it has a fine walnut stock and looks very similar to the one in the video. It is an older model - not bought recently. I saw it this autumn during a party he had. It had a great feel to it. We do not see Sig or Sauer long guns around here at all. It is the only one I have seen. The pistols are quite common here (even Ultraswain had one), but you just don't see the rifles.

To those who haven't shot much, the 7mm mag has got a pretty decent amount of recoil. I cannot tell if his gun has a muzzle brake on it or not, but if not, he must be used to that gun. I did notice one heck of a recoil pad on the end there. That can't hurt, but still you know it when you shoot it.

7mm mag is fairly overkill for little piglets like those.

I suspect the shooting wasn't any more than 40m or so distance, so right at that distance that long guns really start to shine. It always looks further on video. That is a nice dense hardwood stand. We have many forests that look similar to that around here. Not near enough piggies though.

Thanks for sharing that. I love hunting!

Can't take pictures of fantasies. Bummer too, otherwise you'd see unicorn ass all over this forum.

By the way, most people could do the same kind of shooting with a $600-700 boltie and a decent $125 red dot sight mounted to it if practiced enough. AK with bent sights sure as hell isn't going to do it unless those bent sights are bent to POI. 4" @ 50y precision is all you need for those piggies and even an ak will do that.

Just cuz doing something like boar hunting in Indonesia then cooking it up on your private beach on Banka Island seems like an imposable dream to a boring person like you doesn't mean cool people don't do it

Anyway, I am off to meet some Canadian bitches at a club here in Kurdistan - laters
