Nice - Now get yourself a proper sling

May I suggest the Original S.O.E. Single Point Sling

SOE makes top quality stuff but single points are not suitable for full length rifles or even 16" carbines. If you are swinging around a folded up AK with short barrel and standing around most of the time that's great but try doing something like climb or drag a casualty and the limitations of a one point are obvious. Depends on your rig and job, every tool has its specific function. I would not rock a single point on the rifle pictured, YMMV. Also, $50 for a bungee cord in a nylon tube? Gimme a break.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I prefer 2pt slings for most applications. Single point slings are fine for many jobs, but if one is climbing over something or running(with the rifle not in use), a single point is a liability. The 2pt sling can also help you increase aiming stability by grabbing the sling near the front and applying tension to the forward point. The VTAC sling has a quick adjust which makes it much faster than most 2pts.
That being said, a single point sling would be preferable if one is going to need to manipulate their weapon within a confined area such as a car.

I installed a Geissele SSA-E trigger and it makes a world of difference. The original trigger was a plain 'ol Daniel Defense mil-spec.

How does that firearm differ from your average modded AR-15?

As for slings, I also prefer a single point if one is necessary.

I would have no problem carrying out a fucked up guy on my shoulder with a single point sling or climbing rocks with a single point sling. Personally I don't see any advantage to a double point sling than I do a single point sling, but I see a few advantages to a single point sling vs. a double point sling, but my experience in using these things is hunting and shooting, not mil/le.

Primarily that it is a piston system.
