Chiappa Rhino

Just curious if anyone has shot it. Freaky looking and a bit different than the norm due to bottom of rotation firing. Just looking for real world feedback, not review / blog thread from gun store commando types. Africa does not allow semi autos in and I don't feel like hauling around a .416 Rigby to feel safe if I get to go there. If it isn't dead after six rounds of .357 then I guess my time is up.

Yes, its pretty odd looking. It fires from the bottom of the cylinder instead of the top. Apperantly instead of having the muzzle climb it actualy drops as you fire.

I have shot it. The Rhino 2' to be specific. The trigger is something VERY different from any revolver that I have ever shot. Not much draw weight but still long. The low barrel offers a unique felt recoil. I thought that the grip what absolute rubbish, as well as the fiber optic front sight. Nice to look at. Not the least bit impressed having shot it.

Yup, looks real cool. Probably more decorative than anything else, at least until it is refined enough to be worthy. Hopefully future generations will see improvements they are more than cosmetic.
I'm not really a proper reporter, due to the chronic lack of discipline, negligible attention span, and a certain juvenile difficulty taking serious things seriously.
