I can't tell the difference between terrorists and freedom fighters these days so I rely on Sky News to tell me who's who on any given day. But of course they have a GSOH, fighting men are the same the world over.

Now I'm going to be internally saying that to myself for at least a week until I expunge it from my system. Willis.

But what I was talking about was that the people who filled the ranks of the Sunni awakening, and their actual predecessors cannot easily be characterised as fags, ie. unwarrior like and cowardly in your shorthand. They were many things but in the main being cowardly and unwarriorlike were not prime identifying characteristics. To be specific, they took on a first world army, killed a lot of them and gave them serious strategic and tactical headaches, forcing policy changes at the highest level. Clear enough for you?

I was under the assumption that the awaking dudes were somewhat allied with us amerikans, receiving weapons and training initially from the the USMC in 2005. And a percentage of them were to be integrated into the Iraqi military. I know they had some battles with us, but overall the impression here is they fought against al-Qaeda in Anbar etc.
