I am not an expert but when I was Chechnya there were four choices of weapons. Dragunov for sniping, AK 74 for front line work, AK 47 for general stuff and the Krinkov for undercover/car work. Its a great "you talking to me punk?" type of side arm.
It was a tankers weapon and designed for making a shit load of noise when your assailants least expect it. I say noise because one of those rounds is sure to hit something. They are popular in Afghanistan but very expensive. More of a bodyguard gun than a military weapon. Don't know what they cost in Iraq.
And yes Krinkov is what its called by the muj so you can resume your coolness
