HEST T3 special black edition

Postby rnsams » Sun Aug 05, 2012 4:46 am

I am thinking about buying one of the new T3's but I don't want to go ahead and pull the trigger if a new HEST in some super steel is coming out. Does anyone (RYP) know if there are new versions of the hest folder coming out in the near future? (my LE sterile is getting warranty work right now)
THose T3's look just fantastic and the new Mr. DP is too.
thanks,
-ralph

We will always be producing cool versions of blades. Depends what I feel like doing on any particular day. We are working on a version of the DPx HEST F for a certain branch of JSOC that will be available in civvy release in a few months. Also a special run for Blue Ridge Knives. And don't forget our lefties.

i finally decided to just get one of these...a HEST with serrations is what appealed to me the most...haven't used it yet; the regular HEST 2 will continue to be used until there is a reason not to, but i am glad that the T3 is available to me when it is time to change...i will be looking forward to the other versions that are in development...love the HEST concept...

Received my new DPx Gear HEST 2.0 T3 Triple Black Stealth Limited Edition Titanium Folder a few days. This is an excellent tactical/self-defense/survival folder. Once again an excellent build by LionSteel.

Having issues when opening the knife fast & hard whereby it gets stuck and I have to use a tool to unstuck it. It's as though the RotoBlock is on but it isn't. I'll keep opening & closing to see if it goes away. If you open the knife slowly and softly no issues. Perhaps a break-in issue. Any ideas?
