Egypt - Airfare?

Has anyone been to Egypt recently? I might be going there in October for about 2 weeks, what price range for airfare should I be looking for ? I'm in Arizona but could travel easily from LA as well.

I went to Egypt right before the war in Iraq. Back when things were a little more calm.
I bought my tickets from www.orbitz.com. Looks like airfare have gone way up.
Worth a look. I would like to hear where others get tickets.

Expensive. That is all that is available currently. I use Airgorilla.com ...it seems to incorporate a lot more airlines than Orbitz, Expedia, etc.
Lufthansa flies there for about $1000 USD.

I went to Alexandria, Cairo and some of the tourist traps in that area about 4 years ago.

A year and a half ago we got from JFK to Cairo RT for US$800. Air Egypt.
It was even cheaper a few years earlier after the one plane went down right off long island. Might be a good buy now.

With all them bombsgoin off over there I would think a plane ticket would be cheap.
Im reallly fuclimg pissed but fespite that I can still hit a tarfet at 1000m plus. mayVRVe bnot tonight but it qint beyond the wit if man. Nowhammy.

I am taking my dgt. to Egypt over the Xmas holidays (high season.) The cheapest way for me to get our tickets was to go to Istanbul and then Egyptair from there.
Since you're going in October you should get a good cheap fare.
