Maps of Southern Sudan

I have been able to find a hard copy of maps for Southern Sudan but would like to locate a downloadable version for a Garmin handheld GPS. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

That's very difficult, since world war two and the civil war, no real maps exist... Actually the best maps of Sudan are Google Earth and Google maps...

Maybe check out openstreetmap.org?

Doesn't look very thorough at the moment but you can actually contribute through your GPS traces while there so that the next person that comes along can use it

you looking for just a topo map of the area for hiking/off-roading, or are you looking for something with roads for navigating in town/from town to town?
when they ask how you feeling
you tell em you feeling like something important died screaming
you tell em you feeling like something even more important arrived breathing
something you should probably try feeding
