Good.....It was hotter than I expected. 80+ everyday, everywhere.

Lviv was nice. Cheap, still has some rough-around-the-edges charm. Only a matter of time before backpackers start spilling over from Poland.

Kiev.....meh. I only went for Chernobyl.

Chernivitsi was great, made it over to KP and Khotyn. I would love to explore far west Ukraine and the Carpathians some other time.

I'll probably get around to adding some detail later. Heaven forbid I drone on and put Mr. Whammy to sleep while he is cruising the bfc at work.

In conclusion: Women: great, vodka: good, food: good, beer: meh, foreign tourists: ???, police: $$$, feral dogs: annoying, train cabin mates: fun

Yes, L'viv is a charming city. I told you not to bother with Kiev. Did you visit the monastery? No Poland?

Managed to saunter into the side of the monastery without paying.

Krakow felt as together as Germany after being in Ukraine. The only unpleasant part was the smell of bonzo backpacker puke every morning on the streets of old town.

Poland is actually pretty nice compared to the Ukraine. I really liked Krakow. The Ukraine is even noticeably much more together than Russia.

Prague is gorgeous and there is lots to see and do, but I got annoyed at night when the third world pushers came out. If they heard you speaking English they just hounded and hounded....so I tried answering them in really angry sounding Russian and they high-tailed it. A lot of European porn is shot in Prague...not really sure how I know that....
