Cheers. This morning I posted a photo essay of the trip (well, mainly screen captures from our film footage, but you get the idea). You can check it out here: https://kayakthekwanza.wordpress.com/2016/07/09/a-month-in-the-life-of-kayak-the-kwanza-what-did-we-actually-do/

As a fun teaser, here is one of the photos. It's an aggressive bastard of a hippo that chased us up a tree!

Cheers! I might be giving a talk about the trip for the Royal Geographical Society as part of their Microlectures series on Wednesday 22 March 2017. More details here: http://www.rgs.org/WhatsOn/London+Lectu ... ctures.htm

Talk is definitely happening. 22 March 2017 at Royal Geographical Society. As it's part of the Microlectures series, I'll actually only bore you with tales of hippo attacks and illegal diamond mining for 10 minutes. Promise.

Would be good to see any BFC members who are in London at the moment!

Boom, talk at Royal Geographical Society done and online. Can be viewed here:

I'm currently editing the final draft of my book about the journey. Crocodiles, hippo attacks, rapids, diamond miners, three nights in jail, all that stuff. Will keep y'all posted on a release date!
