Hmmm. Flickr looks like a nifty service. Does anyone know where the fine print is regarding ownership rights? I'm always hesitant to post images to an online service when I don't know who retains rights to the image. I'd be peeved to see a picture I took used for commercial purposes without my consent.
I can't find the full legalise on the site's FAQ, probably have to start an account to see it.
Makes me think of this incident: Wieden+Kennedy used the image below for a Nike campaign without permission and figured "gee, if we get caught we can just pay the owner off" but Ian Mackaye doesn't do business that way.
