4 stars. Such pathos and dramatic tension. Rivals Spielberg's best.

It's my nome de plume in the movie world.

Actually, "Bong" was my childhood nickname. Growing up in Northern Ireland a favourite hobby amongst youngsters was throwing stones/rocks at other kids. When I was 10 or 11 and leading a particularly rumbustious stone fight, I happened to run face-first into a lampost and knocked myself unconscious.
My mates carried me home, laughing at the sound the collision made - "BONG!" and I was christened there and then.

Everytime I visit home I still get called Bong, in fact apart from my immediate family, everyone I know in NI still calls me that, they have that way over there of giving you nicknames that stick into adulthood. I grew up with "Hex" "Big Soda" "Cookie" "Peabrain" "Spock" "Ribs" "The Gremlin" "Sponge" "Loaf" "Silver" and my perennial favourite "Bumface" and they remain those names. Nothing to do with hookahs and the weed, sorry rick.

Cheers
