Very true...I love it there. I could spend weeks in Khan el-Khalili, just watching life go by. Too bad I'm a shit photographer.

My brother's been to Alexandria. He says some of the older sections of the city (which are 3-4000 or so years of age) are unbelievably narrow, yet taxis drive through them, sometimes terrifying Western passengers.

Does Cairo have a similar layout?
