First Afghan pic

I've Been on the ranges today zeroing the new weapons - the place was crawling with ANA recruits, I mean hundreds of them. This is the only pic that doesn't compromise our identity.

The range is a few klicks east of Kabul itself on the Jalalabad road, just below the hills in the middle distance is the city itself - you can just make out the brown smog haze that sits all day over it - reminded me of Santiago de Chile.

I'm off on a province trip soon - hopefully get some pics of the countryside away from the big smoke

Cool!

How is the weather when you are down out of the hills? Is it cold, mild or warming up?
