Gorgeous, Bronco. Thanks for those. Just the thing to cheer up a miserable damp November evening.
Shes never interfered with me. I have no complaints about her.
Same here.
Mega ditto.
I met her once and I found her to be a nice lady. Not kookey in any way.
Penta has always been gracious, kind and very sane in all my interactions with her.

I just got done finishing up a logging job that a big production crew pulled out early on. I cut, another guy skidded with a 548 John Deere grapple skidder. The woods looks a little less now as a tornado hit it and the roads are once smooth again. It has been absolutely splendid outside during the last few days. It is about 60F out right now and the sun is shining.

All of the hardwood leaves have fallen (except the Oaks, which are a bit scattered around this part of the country), and although most of the color is gone, it smells like Autumn, with the cusp of deer hunting season right around the corner (firearm season starts one week from today).

It is great to see you have some serious color out there, Bronco.

Thanks for sharing man!

I especially like the bi-coloring of the maples - nice a vivid.

Nice shots Bronco, beautiful in fact. Now tell me, how many of those trees did you hug?

Cheers

One picture shows my driveway. I personally planted or carefully tended most of the trees you see in that picture. You might say I hugged them, (oooh, Fondled Them!) in a sense. The real "hugging" trees are in another location in the yard, closer to the creek. They are Western Red Cedars that run four or five feet in diameter, those are the real cherished trees, the rest of them are slowing becoming firewood. I cut two or three a year to shape the landscaping and to burn in the wood stove.
Thanks for all the nice comments.

Woodsman, We've had two dustings of snow...nothing to plow yet. I have my tractor set up with the snow blower and have the chains on it for when it's icy. I think the fact that I'm ready for snow has caused it to be later than normal. As you may recall from last year's pictures, we had well over eight feet of snow here by the end of January. (That's why I own four sets of skis.)

We've been to stay with friends in Shropshire this weekend, and I have to say the woods are looking quite magnificent here too, even in the pouring rain. No pics, sorry.

Nice shots Bronco. Where did you take these? I'm just a bit south of Olympia and that farm scene looked pretty familiar
