My Time in the Australian Bushfires

Postby Aussie TJS » Sat Mar 14, 2009 3:07 am

The Bushfires in Victoria, Australia have claimed the lives of over 210 people and destroyed 1,800 - 2,000 structures - mainly homes.
For anyone interested these are just a few photos taken while i was away on strike teams in the week of Hell when most of the damage was done in early Feb.

Try flickr, and try to resize of your pics to under 500KB - I usually resize 'em with Microsoft Office Picture Manager then it's easier to upload 'em to Flickr for editing and linking them here

I'd blame the bush fires if I was you.

Constant raging fires and lots of deaths?
That's what you get when you turn a penal colony into a country.
It's called pedigree, chum.

Good News: Ok so finally i've loaded some pics up on Photobucket.

Bad News: Seeing as i've now left Australia and am not gonna be back for 7-8 months i don't have all my pics with me. I can only find 3 on this laptop. Luckily they're some of the best fire pics i've got from the recent fire season.

Sorry about the wait and the let down. Sad there's only 3 but oh well
