Luke Powell's Afghanistan photos

Postby dawud » Thu Jan 14, 2010 6:03 am

I first found this page around 2001, and while he hasn't updated the page very often, his original photos of Afghanistan as it was in the 70s are beautiful and epic in capturing a land that no longer exists, at a time of relative peace that may take a very long time to return...

hope you enjoy his photos as much as I did:

Religion is often criticized for its heavy-handed approach to guilt and shame. The Ford fiasco convinces me that there is an important place for both.

Gorgeous. Thanks, Dawud.
Shes never interfered with me. I have no complaints about her.
Same here.
Mega ditto.
I met her once and I found her to be a nice lady. Not kookey in any way.
Penta has always been gracious, kind and very sane in all my interactions with her.

What a shame England set them on the road to ruin.
I know the law. And I have spent my entire life in its flagrant disregard.
