LIKE VERY MUCH!

Thanks for sharing.

Columbians got a sweet place and know how to live.

(Except the tanks at Metallica - idiocy.)

Cartagena. Pirate and related stuff.

There are loads of model ships in the Naval Museum. And models of the various attacks, including this, of Francis Drake's last and successful one in 1586:

On the assumption that someone here might share my love of Mudéjar architecture and particularly leafy patios, here are a few more:

Convent of San Pedro Claver:

Palace of the Inquisition:

Next 2 beautifully restored houses, now very expensive hotels. If you ask politely they'll let you in to have a look around. The Pestagua, which is very cool and elegant:

And Casa del Marqués, which has been more faithfully restored:

And the smaller, much more reasonable hotel we stayed at, Casa de Catalina la India:

In fact it rained several times when we were in Taganga. Long overdue. Everyone was hugely relieved at the end of a long drought. The hillsides should be bright green by now.
