Aye just took a look a these pics and was a bit startled by the body. I think this would be a good spot to throw that pic of your wife plucking garbage out of the river by your place....absolutely horrifying. "Look what he makes her do". ; )

I was with the Thai military, they said he was SPDC and kept going.

Great pictures Utra Swain!

I like the Tri-x effect you are getting with your b/w settings. Sometimes b/w seems to express more than colour.

The Muay Thai guy who looks like he's shitting his pants gave me a chuckle too. He looks like he's wondering if it's too late to sneak off home ^^

Some of these pics were taken by a real photog (Jason Florio), mostly the ones with me in them. But the Muay Thai shots I took at the local fights a few months ago. RYP sold me on shooting b/w in the jungle and I stole his settings. I wish he would post more of the shots he got here because they really are amazing. I will go through my older shots and post more in a day or so. They aren't quite as sexy but a bit more informative.

Robert has around 327 Bazillion photos on one camera alone, he needs a photo editor with alot of time on their hands
but since he's Robert there is no way he'd hire someone to do a job he can do better.

Did you hear of the Free Burma Rangers while you were there? Same neighborhood. That Muay Thai fight, was that one of the refugee camp fights?

Also, isn't that the Karen State flag on that guy's jacket? Since you were with the Thai military, how'd you run into those guys?

Cause they're "on the border" ?

Yes, on the border. I appreciate the obvious. But if the military wanted to avoid the dead guy, I would have thought they'd want to avoid the live guy. Just asking a detail.

The Thais never ever have supported the Karens.
