Registering Your Own Domain Name

Postby SRR » Fri Mar 23, 2007 11:56 pm

I tried googling this but came up with way too many pay sites.

What I'm curious about is if it's possible to register a domain name for free each year instead of getting the Dork Squad to do it for you. Can I just TelNet into some back door and Unix away for awhile and save myelf forty bucks a year?

What are these people charging for that I can't do myself? (I often ask prostitutes this question but never get a good answer, so hopefully the change in subject will be more... uh, revealing).

Muy Grazi.

I use these folks

I know the law. And I have spent my entire life in its flagrant disregard.
