I keep getting logged out

Postby Dr. V » Tue Jan 29, 2008 6:18 pm

is this happening to anyone else - or is it my crap aol ('wal-mart of the internet') connection?

I've tried deleting cookies, turning it off and on and all the normal stuff. It logs me out during posts, when surfing, freezes randomly on both my lap top and main computer......

Bummer. Not happening to me this time.
Shes never interfered with me. I have no complaints about her.
Same here.
Mega ditto.
I met her once and I found her to be a nice lady. Not kookey in any way.
Penta has always been gracious, kind and very sane in all my interactions with her.

OK lets get to the bottom of this.

go to here:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

and copy this file to your desktop:

hosts

and either e-mail it to me as an attachment or cut paste it. Send it to my "kurt" account.

Also in that same directory you may find a file that gives a date like hosts.20071212-001200.backup (as an example). Copy this and send it to me as well.

Oh and just in case in the same directory send me a copy of lmhosts as well.

THESE FILES ARE HIDDEN - THIS FILE CONTAINS FILES THAT KEEP YOUR SYSTEM WORKING PROPERLY - YOU SHOULD NOT MODIFY ITS CONTENTS

Don't modify the contents. Just copy the files to your desktop.

Fuck that. You can have a lot of fun deleting crap out of the system folder. Not wantonly, of course. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
