Fuck off Labour

Postby flipflop » Fri Jul 24, 2009 3:34 pm

Funny as fook,

The UK is moving to the right, the scum have lost the plot, the Guardian weeps, I'm as happy as a pig in shit. We've all had a good laugh at the demise of the neo-cons across the pond, now enjoy the death of socialism in this green and pleasant land.

Read how the Guardian tries to put a positive spin on losing a 5459 Labour majority to a Tory one of 7348 votes, these Guardianistas could do Goebbels proud. Get over it already, you middle-class Gucci cunts

No joy from Norwich

Some sunshine for Cameron's Tories, another shower for Brown and Labour, but not a byelection to change the political weather

Jackie Ashley guardian.co.uk, Friday 24 July 2009 15.00 BST

Well, it's hardly champagne all round, but maybe a small glass of warm sparkling white for the two major parties after the Norwich North byelection. The Conservatives can certainly celebrate the arrival of a young, articulate female MP on their benches at Westminster: there are not nearly enough of them. But Labour, equally, are quietly happy that they managed to secure second place. There were real fears, throughout the campaign, that they could finish third, behind the Lib Dems.

We have seen, as usual, the old game of expectation management, with Labour putting it about that the Conservatives were on course for a victory of more than 10,000. Certainly, the Conservatives have thrown everything at this byelection with a series of high-profile visits from David Cameron and his top team. Their worry has been that a small boulder may have been placed in the way as their bandwagon rolls its way towards Downing Street. A majority of less than 5,000 would have slowed its momentum.

Labour is left once again with a sad set of excuses, from their candidate's unfortunate disappearance because of swine flu, to the fact that voters inevitably blame the government more than other parties for the expenses scandal. But there have been some own goals too, including the apparently random dismissal of the well-liked Ian Gibson who did have questions about his expenses, but, argue some, no more questions than plenty of others. Anger about the treatment of Ian Gibson undoubtedly led to some Labour voters staying at home.

It's a sign of how bad things are for Labour that a big byelection defeat causes a mere ripple in the political waters today. Nobody had been expecting the result to be anything other than a Conservative victory. And nobody expects another round of leadership speculation to start ... yet.

For now, Labour MPs are exhausted, with little fight left in them. As they head off for the beaches (many are set for the rain-drenched shores of Britain for fear of causing more upset this year), there is an air of weary resignation about the future. Perhaps the economy will start to turn round in the autumn. Perhaps Gordon Brown with his new press people will start to get his PR act together in time for the conference season. Perhaps David Miliband or Alan Johnson might find the stomach for a fight over the summer.

But for now, the Norwich result changes nothing. For Labour, the landscape remains grey, bleak and overcast. It's going to take a real thunderclap before the party can start to lift itself from the current depression. There's little sign of that happening before September, and even then, it looks unlikely.

LOL. This is one by-election in one parliamentary seat where the sitting MP resigned. Makes no difference to anything much.

Even if (when) the conservatives win a general election (probably next year) they won't suddenly reverse policy on handgun ownership.

Amazing that we're dutifully waiting for the incompetent arsehole to tell us when we're allowed to remove his unelected fat head from that place called Downing Street.

What would you suggest? A military coup?

Unlike your fine country which was formed by equal, free-thinking, independent men of honour, our little place has been under the yoke for centuries. The latest ruling class - erstwhile fat northern bastards who have moved to Islington and now employ personal trainers and read the Guardian - are the closest thing this country has come to having a ruling politburo.

The CCTV Home Secretary - Jacqui "Joe Stalin" Smith - was ousted from her job because of, among other things, her husband (so she claims) was buying porno DVDs and she claimed the expense off the taxpayer, the cunt was earning £63,000 a year. They've flipped homes, claimed back charity donations and every other spiv trick in the book, ALL the parties were at it, but Labour are the government and could have stopped the whole rotten thing. The Labour speaker fought tooth and nail to keep all this shit private before he too was purged, so they naturally are going to reap the tornado that has erupted over it. Google names like Derek "Dolly" Draper and Damian McBride, to see the utter fucking sleazebags that churn out agit-prop for Labour Party HQ.

Penta's favourite bumwiper, the "serious" Guardian spent days in retaliation trying to "get" the Tory spin doctor Andy Coulson, as revenge for McBride. But the public aren't that stupid - the guy lost his job before, he had no case to answer. Trust a foghorn like Penta and her perma-quoting from that newspaper at your peril, for the Guardian is as big a joke as the News of the World she and it scoffs at. Rotten, venal, corrupt, in cahoots. There's a huge smell of rotting corpse wafting around Downing Street, and they won't go down gracefully,

Brown was unelected to his position, people have seen right through Labour, and the whole country has made a quantum shift to the right. Brown's (and Mandelson, who controls him as his eminence grise) legacy will be as the PM who pissed the silent majority off enough they voted in two fascists to the EU parliament. Harriet Harman's attempts at stopping the BNP by disallowing them white-only membership while promoting the same thing with minority groups is too little, too late, and smacks of totalitarianism. Hypocrisy, sleaze, spin, troughing, all under the red flag of champagne socialism is yesterday's news. Expect a long winter for Labour in the wilderness and hopefully a return to sensible fiscal policy.

Hopefully by this time next year they'll be warming the benches of the opposition, with a good few of their top cronies out of work. I'm enjoying the death throes of the chattering class, the indolent poor need to fucking wise up and get off the welfare bandwagon too. It's looking up, if Cameron gets a few libertarian orientated people into his government like the extremely talented Dan Hannan - well known in the US but under a news blackout by the televisual wing of the Labour politburo - the disgraceful BBC, then the Tories may even have the tacit support of Herr flipflop himself.

Under Labour the only armed members of society at present are Yardie gang-bangers, muslim extremists and East European drug and people traffickers. The Tories won't change that, but they might deport a few of these scummy bastards.

Cheers

My friend read it. (He's an independent financial adviser in UK). He hates what damage Brown has done. His only comments were that, quote: Brown came across as hugely arrogant, wouldn't listen, act on, any financial advice from anyone, including he's so called advisers. Vince Cable is the only guy in ear shot of Brown that saw the financial crises coming & advised on how to minimise the damage to the UK. End quote.

Was the UK once a democracy?
