80s punk trivia

Postby rickdark » Wed Sep 21, 2005 12:35 am

Lying in a rice field with a tommy gun in hand , shoot the nasty yankey come to take our land.
(not sure for a while of the rest but)//

Yo ho he ho an evil army of advisers we are not the early risers. napalm bombs and agent orange im still singin in the rain bungee sticks and bamboo splinters work much better making pain ,give me lots of death and torture give me lots of gore we may have lost the battle but we havent lost the war. man is fast consuming goods and taking over neighborhoods wont you be my neighbor.
(there are some words missing from here )
but it was a fast high bass song.
I think it as about nam and is called The neighbor song or
something like that. Mr.Rogers is in the beginning saying
will you sing the neighbor song with me.
I can`t find anything on this song anywhere I had it on a (blank)tape back in high school, actually I got it off of Killjoy from Necrophagia when we were in school.
any info on this would be really cool and put a 20 year old mystery to bed.
my heart is black as pitch, for happiness is out of reach for some.

Sounds like the Clash to me, but I am just guessing. They like using Tommy Gun and yankee in their lyrics.

I have not a clue who it is but very obviously they sucked. Trust me I know these things. It was stuff like that that made the music I loved tedious and boring to the max.

Long live Tesco Vee

French people suck
I just gotta say
Made the jet fighters
Go out of their way
Hating Yankees too much
Those beret-headed nuts.
They can stick the Eifell Tower
Straight up their butts.

Last time I flew Air France
Played a tune on my Uzi
And made the sissies dance.
Killed a hundred or more
And I had a ball.
Those freakin' frog suckers
Be the death of us all.

French people suck.
French people suck.
French people suck.
French people can suck my...
Her eyes like sparks, my heart like gasoline

and Crippled Children Suck.

Negative Approach was a better Detroit band...Never saw them but I saw their offshoot a few times called The Laughing Hyaenas.

Bloody Mannequin Orchestra is the band; Roadmap to the Revolution is the LP. I'm looking for a copy (dubbed to mp3 would be fine); doesn't sound like anyone on this thread has it lying around, though.

Holy shit, that is an old band. I had a tape of DC hardcore ages ago that got eaten by a tape deck that I think had Bloody Mannequin Orchestra on it, but I cannot help you.

Old thread too. So you must really be searching.

Actually,I'm learning online....and the great thing is,it's OK to write about this here. This forum is not quite so sacred. Shit, the Travel forum is as sacred as MLK's mouth. I' wouldn't dare write that on the Travel forum...that would be like denigration or something.
