Funny I would have expected 'sliding doors' to have made it in there over a couple of others, but then there is no accounting for taste.

Glad to see 'Naked' in there, a truly excellent manic piece of cinematography. All the better for the mostly improvised script. It contains oneof my favourite film lines that I have used quite regularly in various situations many times.

When David Thewlis is being shown around the massive but completely empty office block by the night security guard who explains to him about using the time clock at all the security stations around the building.

The guard - I want to reveal to you the mysteries of my trade .This little lady (the time clock) is the representative of my employer.
Watch. (Plugs clock into wall, turns key) My existence at this moment, on this spot,is now trapped and recorded. Twenty-three moments, 23 sites, every two hours. That's my job.

Thewlis- "How Very Zen.."
"If you sit still the birds shit on you, even Buddha, life's short so get out there and do something"
"My life has no purpose, no direction, no aim, no meaning, and yet I’m happy. I can’t figure it out. What am I doing right?" Snoopy

I was getting pissy because "This is England" didn't look like it was going to be there, ditto for "Shaun of the Dead". "Hot Fuzz" should have been as well.

DS Andy Wainwright: You do know there are more guns in the country than there are in the city.
DS Andy Cartwright: Everyone and their mums is packin' round here!
Nicholas Angel: Like who?
DS Andy Wainwright: Farmers.
Nicholas Angel: Who else?
DS Andy Cartwright: Farmers' mums.

We thought Hot Fuzz was terrible, a mess, not even funny; couldn't understand why it was recommended.

Good to be reminded of how many really good films there have been.

It was good, but not a brilliant film to my mind. I don't think it will stand up over time, either, unlike Trainspotting or Withnail, for instance, or most of the others. The preceding TV series, The Thick of It was much better.

Some of my favourite films on that list. Glad to see not EVERY film was a "gritty portrayal of everyday life in the bleak city of______ amongst the poverty-stricken_________ ", just most of them.

I thought it was abit of a failure or at best an average vehicle for Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, but it did have some funny set pieces. My favourite is the two of them sitting in a car when the big guy goes past.

Nicholas Angel: Wow he's big
Danny Butterman: Takes after his mum and his sister.
Nicholas Angel: And are they as big as he is?
Danny Butterman: Who?
Nicholas Angel: The mum and the sister?
Danny Butterman: Same person.

Nicholas Angel: All right, what about this guy? Ask yourself, why has he got his hat pulled down like that?
Danny Butterman: He's fuck-ugly.
Nicholas Angel: Or, he doesn't want you to see his face.
Danny Butterman: 'Cause he's fuck-ugly.

Since we're on the subject of Brit entertainment, I'd like to say I would have loved an Ab Fab movie, but good sitcoms often don't translate well onto the screen.
I am the object of criticism around the world. But I think that since I am being discussed, then I am on the right track.

Seen only five of them. Probably due to being on the road for so long. Surprised I saw that many.
I'm not really a proper reporter, due to the chronic lack of discipline, negligible attention span, and a certain juvenile difficulty taking serious things seriously.
