This woman is superb. Just picked up her DVD of Sinatra tunes performed instrumentally. Soothing stuff.

Very smooth. To Chill out on summer evenings.

In a similar vane but with vocals I rather like Melody Gardot. Quite new taking offover here with her album - My one and only thrill. Writes all her own stuff. This is from the album - Baby I'm a fool. Nice

I recently re discovered Spyro Gyra, Morning Dance which has the same effect from a light jazz perspective. Bought the LPtwenty odd years ago when released and only a month or two ago loaded same onto Ipod

!!! When I found the link I now realise it was 30 years ago!!!

LOL.

Indeed, after a certain point in life, the numbers in terms of age have a shock value.

I prefer my music to be relaxing and a source calmness. Spyro Gyra fits in nicely.

Cheers to you both.

Not quite as smooth as Ms Gardot but good stuff nevertheless. Poor sound quality on the clip - can't find any with good sound quality that captures the richness of her voice.
