I just saw a clip of that Indian movie with the couple dancing and singing on a hill, but I didn't catch the name of it.

A classic.

Along with the book, one of my all time favourites.

"Who was it that took battle field command when the Afghans came howlin' out the hills and all the officers had copped it ?" "It was detriments like us that built this bloody Empire and the Izzat of the Raj"
"If you sit still the birds shit on you, even Buddha, life's short so get out there and do something"
"My life has no purpose, no direction, no aim, no meaning, and yet I’m happy. I can’t figure it out. What am I doing right?" Snoopy

I just watched La Femme Nikita and loved it. English subtitles. I officially don't speak a word of French.

Nice. You should have a French action film day - La Femme Nikita, Leon (The Professional), some Jean-Paul Belmondo films and top it off with the awesome Army of Shadows

I'm a fan of Jean Reno, who was also in Ronin.

though clint was the star, i think eli wallach stole every scene he was in. tuco ramirez. awesome performance. should have gotten best supporting actor oscar.

I think so too. "If you're going to miss, you better miss good!" Last night I got a Christopher Walken itch, so I watched Prophecy two and three. There's a four and five, but since they don't have Christopher Walken I don't know if I would bother.

Just watched Battle Royale and Suicide Club. Both are Japanese and come in fairly high on the WTF ? scale, especially the latter. I needed something to get my mind off the stack of accounting/tax stuff I have been churning through.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.

But it wasn't as good as La Femme Nikita. I also just got introduced to Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Hysterical movie.

A DJ at a local classic rock station played Low Rider by War and mentioned that it came off of the Dazed and Confused soundtrack. It's like American Graffiti without the rose colored glasses. Too bad they left a bunch of cool songs off of the disc.
Martha Washington would have a big fat bowl waiting for him when he got home, man!.
