i think 13 hours in benghazi pretty much explains how its all rolling.
i watched the video more than once.

Sicario was enjoyable, kinda has a Heat vibe to it.
"These decisions are made far from here, by officials elected to office, not appointed to them."

Didn't care much for the Star Wars reboot, dld it 8 months or so later, seems like they made the same fücking movie as the first (and the third one) once more.

Nightcrawler is a good one, pretty tense stuff. Same dude plays a different dude in Zodiac.

More nudity and violence in tv series nowadays anyway but other than Narcos (the sickly capitan of BOPE and the head-smashed mustachioed dude from GoT) and the usual stuff I find it hard to get my monthly Gb's fill worth.

Saw a docu on a secret airfield in Laos but it's from 2009 or so. Mercenaries, dope, spooks, the works.

All those moments will be lost in time, like adult entertainment urls in browser history.

Guessing the little guy that played Sebastian is dead. Probably will download it anyway.

I've been watching classic movies lately, and I guess the answer to this fifty year old question these days is: yes.

Not too bad. Doesn't try too hard. I mainly liked looking at the old cars.

Anyone seen any good films lately

Postby russlits » Sun Dec 02, 2018 4:52 pm

I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on Saturday. I think its as good as and perhaps surpasses Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Other than this and Ratatouille, havent seen any other films this summer.

I watched Sicario: Day of the Soldado last night and reawakened my inner armchair commando/chairborne ranger.

Not good but definitely enjoyable:
Expendables 3 has pretty shitty CGI, a bunch of Youtube celebrities mixed in with 1980-90s action guys and a plot as predictable as panties dropping whenever a dude is a doctor with a big dick and breeds labradors on the side.
But it also has some pretty cool action sequences and 2 lovable rascals among the cast with both Wesley Snipes and Mel Gibson. I didn't bother to google the dates of Mel's divorce, but in one scene he shoots 2 friendlies in the face to prove that he is taking charge and he gets into a truck. That's not a nod, that's like a headbutt. Harrison Ford shows up and he smiles, this stuff is probably after he got raped in Indiana Whatever. Wesley Snipes hasn't changed a day since Blade reinforcing my personal belief all black people are vampires and we must harvest their blood so as to harness their power for ourselves.
The nostalgia is limited, hairlines are receding, it's a third part in a silly franchise in a world of failed cinematic universes, the self-awareness kinda stutters but fück it, I kinda feel bad I didn't see this in a cinema and just torrented it but yeah, this is like Hollywood dinosaurs roaring, putting on a show. I just hope Stalone et al. wrote themselves a MF fat paycheck. Hindsight being 2019, they all earned it.
