Because we don't spend it jacking off to guns and ammo magazine? Maybe you should cut down on that and go watch a movie, grandpa.

I'm watching the extended/episodic Swedish version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on Netflix Instant. I consider it to be most excellent.

Yeah. The Fincher one was unnecessary. Just like the Let the Right One In was one was unnecessary as is the forthcoming Oldboy remake. Why spend millions of fucking dollars making a pastiche of a great movie when you could spend the millions on getting it released in the US and ads to make people go see it? Subtitles don't scare folks, they Passion of the Christ was in fucking Aramaic and is one of the highest grossing movies of all time.

I highly recommend Ivan's Childhood. It's about a (PRECIOUS AND ADORABLE) Russian orphan who becomes a spy. The cinematography is beautiful. The plot sounds a bit lame, but it's a highly enjoyable film.
Ain't nobody got time for that

re-watching the "Rome" series from HBO for the millionth time. still awesome.

Elite Squad: The Enemy Within (in portugese, with subs) is the best movie I've seen in a while.

I watched Skyfall on disc last night. The villain is such a fruit loop he gave me the willies, so it was well done on that actor's part. Unless he's a fruit loop in real life.
The girl who got whacked was of course gorgeous, but she was kind of a fruit loop too. But I like the new Moneypenny. The series seems to be taking a dark turn but I like it. Daniel Craig seems to be into Parkour, which always impresses me. The last two movies have been pretty impressive with the physical stunts.
It was nice that the disc had Russian subtitles as an option. Gave me a chance to practice and learn some new stuff.

That's some impressive tension right there.

I want to recommend the Baader-Meinhof Complex, as it is very well done, but I actually did not enjoy it, the characters are just a bunch of terrorists, there's nothing special or interesting about them.

I did like Mesrine: Killer Instinct and Public Enemy #1

The interrupters (2011) is a documentary but that doesn't mean it's boring.
