For as much as I could give two fucks about football (I was the second one to vote myself as muggybonehead)- Always had better bust ups at Everton Games, especially when they played Arsenal. Plus they are good for half time draw full time win bets so I suppose Im a blue. Also less hassle to be a blue as I drink in the Ship and Mitre in town which is a post match Everton haunt. Couldn't be a Liverpool supporter for the obvious fact that I am from Liverpool, they have it written into the club constitution that supporters must be from Wales or Norway.

You get to see Brixa grind away in this video but sadly she is dressed in a way that said "1988" even back in 1988.

Always was a mad marriage that. Even though the young Brix was gorgeous, once she opened her gob........jesus. Plus, when she joined The Fall, Smith's anti-image got a re-make, and suddenly he actually looks normal for a while, nice hair and decent clobber on. Look at the cut of him in the videos with Brix, he's almost a Rock Star.

The story of when Brix moves in with Smith into his little terrace house in Prestwich is hilarious. She goes to the local shops and with her big white hair, outlandish clothes and tomfoolery (jewellery), people stop and stare at her. Some auld biddy in rollers and a scarf asks her "Are you here for yer holidays then love?". Classic

She always reminds me of Nancy Spungen, a lot less annoying Nancy Spungen, but that same whiny, preachy nasal North American voice.....

With television being more national than local, with people more mobile these days the accent that Nancy had is getting rarer and rarer but it still exists.

It is a glass shattering accent though.
