I just wanted to wind up on Sean Connery's Website...he is ancient but he is still a hottie.
Passion is necessity. It is not diligence, or simply being committed to a goal. Passion consumes you while you chase down your goal. Passion should always be your natural state of mind for it is what sparks momentum and sets the pace.

Sean was clearly the best Bond. Pierce comes in 2nd followed by Roger, Timothy, and that insignifigant guy who was Bond in On Her Majstys Secret Service IMHO.

Lazenby....George Lazenby.

Best ones: IMVHO very subjective

- Goldfinger
- Dr. No
- The Man with the Golden Gun
- Living Daylights
- On Her Majesty's Secret Service
- Live and Let Die
- Octopussy

Pretty Good Ones

- Thunderball
- License to Kill (just can't get into it)
- Diamonds are Forever
- For Your Eyes Only

Sucks

- Spy who Loved me
- Moonraker (except the part in Brazil)
- All other 80's ones

Bond played by and Englishman, a Welshman, an Irishman, a Scot and an Australian. Can you match em up?

Anyone a fan of the Avengers, the New Avengers or (break out the hash pipe) The Prisoner?

The more I think about it the more I
think what a goose egg Bond movies
would amount to without Monty's theme
music and John Williams music. But thats
probably true for many movies and series.

Watch the scene in Octoussy where the circus
knife artist is throwing knives at his blindfolded
twin who easily and deftly snatches them out of the air.
Static shot: show man throwing knife with girl at his side.
Cut to: twin catching knife. Cut back to other twin: no woman there.
Back and forth until the whole scene is just a series of film smoke and mirrors. Same thing when the train hits the car Bond was just on one second before it is demolished and lands in a river. For the train to be going in the -opposite direction- that way, that would have meant they would have just PASSED or went over a bridge. Plus it goes to to the wrong side. Then when Orlov is running to catch the train before he is mowed down, theres a whole series of shots that dont add up to coherency. Also many ppl have specualted that the film makers were lost obviously when General Orlov derstroys the real Faberge egg.

Also noted: Bond forgets to put his gun holster on after he gets his jacket sewn up at the Q branch India.

The dumbest is at the end. He has exactly under 3-4 minutes to defuse da bomb yet under a minute he can change into a clown suit and apply the requisite make-up complete with Bozo nose. Amazing.

My faves:

Never Say Never Again
Goldeneye
On Her Majestys Secret Service
The Living Daylights
For Your Eyes Only
From Russia with Love
Dr. No
Ride the Walrus
