Danger-zone tourism research

Postby dorina » Sat Jul 24, 2010 6:23 am

Hi. My name is Dorina Buda. I am a doctoral student from Romania studying at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. As part of my PhD thesis I am researching dynamics of tourism and political situation in Jordan and the West Bank. I am particularly interested in the concept and practice of danger-zone tourism more precisely in danger zoners' fascination with travel to places of on-going political conflict. If you are a danger-zoner in Jordan and/or the West Bank from July to end of October 2010 and you would like to share your travel motivations, experiences, feelings and emotions as a danger-zoner in Jordan and/or the West Bank please contact me at ****.nz or ***@yahoo.com.

Any feedback, suggestions and tips are welcome.

ALL INFORMATION GATHERED IS CONFIDENTIAL. ANONIMITY ASSURED. PARTICIPANTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW AT ANY TIME. THANK YOU. LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU!

A lamb has mounted the altar.....

I decry your request for input by danger-zoners as naive chumming for a drumming. Here at Cafe Excreble we are light on danger-zoners and long on boner owners, loners, overloud moaners and HEST honers. Run for your life child; not even the Hero of Myanmar can protect you here. Take refuge in the greenery of the Golden Land, as facilitated by the spacious airport in Mandalay, in the safest of all SEAsian travel destinations.

He's just warning you to prepare to be flamed.

I suggest you search for and read vlindsay's early posts first. And then perhaps send her a PM.
Shes never interfered with me. I have no complaints about her.
Same here.
Mega ditto.
I met her once and I found her to be a nice lady. Not kookey in any way.
Penta has always been gracious, kind and very sane in all my interactions with her.

Trying to shake up Mooloo Uni? Good luck with that. NZ tourism, which focuses so much on organized, canned extreme-ness is the diametric opposite of 'danger-zone tourism.'
(I'm a Kiwi, I'm allowed to say that)

Again, who said anything about NZ tourism? I am based in a New Zealand University, but I am not dealing with "organized, canned extreme-ness" type of tourism.

You must have missed "and the West Bank" in my blurb. You might have some swear words for the West bank as well. As to your desire for some hash, you must have plenty of that in your part of the world.

Ronbo? lol. Now that poor lady's email is going to be spammed with borderline illegal porn.

Anyway, doesn't that Israeli National Trail go through bits of the West Bank? If so, check out redharen's old posts, it sounds really pretty. Nice views.

Thank you for considering me a 'lady', I am amazed you have such words in your vocabulary, as to what exactly you define 'poor' I have no idea. I appreciate your suggestion to check out redharen's old posts. I shall do that.

Izzies really are a bunch of cunts.

A diversified range of swearwords "fookin cunts" and "bunch of cunts".
