I took a moment to fulfill coldharvest's request from that early in that thread.

coldharvest wrote:Unspent boners are for desperate loners.
somebody wanna find the Latin for that?

for the sake of a usable (online) translator, I changed the statement to "unused erections are for desperate recluse people"
which comes to "novus erections es pro desparatus cubo populus"

I think it's catchy. Might work better with a good synonym for boners that will translate, and don't involve building construction.

Re: in a DP - being m-a this week

first, these two punks stick a (fake?) gun in my face and demanded all my stuff. (my reaction was to scream f** you and kick) so they didn't get anything, but it pissed me off.

then, i go roller skating and broke my elbow by falling on my hand, go figure.

so i was lamenting to a friend how much it sucks to have to type with only my left hand, and he says the internet is full of chat rooms where everyone is typing with their left hand! lol

ok, looking for food suggestions which dont make dirty dishes since i cant wash them.

no cast, just a sling until i see the ortho doc - who decide whether i need a screw to hold it together. it's a chunk of the radial head that's broken off.
last night i shifted wrong trying to fall asleep and i felt it pop out for a sec.

That totally sucks, MA.

BUT. Did you know that Raúl Castro was *also* born on our birthday? It's like that one special day of the year when all your revolutions really can come true. Anyway, hope you feel better!

Thats called crepitus. I love the sound of crepitus, in a sick kind of way.

Have I ever told the story of the prisoner who was unaware of his upper arm completely broken through, until I was holding him in a simple escort wrist lock and his arm just kept getting longer.... The sound and feel of the crepitus was strangely magnetic to my curiosity.

When his arm was bent at elbow and shoulder (as if holding something under his arm) the bone from the elbow to break didn't bend so it made the skin on his arm lift up into something akin to a bell tent !

And no, it wasn't me that broke it.

It's pretty sweet, I love all the trees. I just hope my growing appreciation for first-world comforts doesn't override my desire to travel. It would be easy to get stuck in Atlanta, it's a festive little city in the forest.
