Happy New Year.

LOL. I can see why he wouldn't want to ride a bike in Maine in December. On the other hand, there are other places to live.
But "fixing" the price of gas wouldn't be good economics, now would it? Actually, the if the Democrats really want to see new technologies they would be locking fossil fuel companies out in the cold. So to speak.

for some strange reason fireworks were deemed legal this new years. i've had more fun than a barrel of monkeys setting off and watching them being set off on the mountains around me.
things that are loud and go boom are good. :)
No Apologies.

It costs us somewhat more than twice that - currently about $8.50

The galling point is that it was $2.99/gallon two weeks ago.

Maybe we should just give up and buy stock in EXXON, Goldman-Sachs, Google, NIKE, McDonalds, APPLE and Coca-Cola and let our consciences & sense of fairness whither away.

Hmmm, maybe that's a sensible resolution for 2011: give up, sell out and buy in.

Anyway I did a half-hour run this AM as soon as I awoke to celebrate the New Year. Off we go...

Yeahsure -- since we're sorta neighbors, maybe you'd be interested in a car I'm about to have for sale. 40 mpg highway. :)

I usually have to pay almost $3.50 out here in California because everything I have needs premium. Fortunately I can bicycle a lot.

Redharen: Thanks but I have a Toyota...which is paid for.

:)

How have you enjoyed your time in the Bay State thus far? Has the schizophrenic politics got your head spinning yet?

And remember...pothole season is only a month away.

That is exactly what I intend to do very soon. Only because I don't have any appreciable sense of fairness.

Ha, no problem, man, thought I'd throw it out there.

Mass is all right, I guess -- now that I'm in Year Three up here it's starting to feel like home. Just in time for me to pull up stakes and head out again. I don't really pay attention to the politics that much; maybe if I did I wouldn't like the place as much as I do.
