Good to hear from you. Hope you are doing well.
If you get a chance check your local library system you can find Rumi's books and perhapse Dr. Depk Chopra's " Gift of Love" CD which has Rumi's poems. It's great CD i highly recommanded it to anyone interested in Sufism.
I do not care about fundamentalist and what they say about different religions or sufism. One things is clear that God does not hate and there's no room for hate in any religion, wheather Islam or any other religions.
Why these so called religions are dividing humanity in different names?
I have no idea, may be they think they know it all.
God has love for entire humanity not only muslims. The true feeling one can find is in true Sufi path of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi Balkhi.
Like I said once you entered in his world of thinking ....you no longer are a muslim, Jewish or Chritian. You become part of humanity without issue of race, religion, nationality and languages.

I started looking for you, not knowing
how blind that was.

they're in each other all along."

A Stone I Died (by Rumi)

A stone I died and rose again a plant;
A plant I died and rose an animal;
An animal I died and was born a man.
Why should I fear? What have I lost by death?

...was going to post this yesterday,on Rememberance Day,but I forgot.

That's one reason this thread was resurrected.

The other reasons being:
A reminder of the importance of common humanity over our differences.
Laal is a good man.
Canadians sacrificed in Afghanistan big time.
Death.
What is the purpose of war? So others can get rich?
I like to think that's not the only reason.
