Hmm...maybe I shouldn't have come out of poll-making retirement.

Time traveling Romans find it hilarious already.

It has only been one hundred years since things began to get silly. Happened somewhere back there when certain sects of humanoids received special rights in an attempt to handicap others.

I'm still uncertain about this universal right to democracy and voting. The alternatives aren't good either. It would be great if ballots had a default "I don't really care these choices suck and/or I'm stupid and don't understand" option

Democracy can't work. Mathematicians, peasants, and animals, that's all there is — so democracy, a theory based on the assumption that mathematicians and peasants are equal, can never work. Wisdom is not additive; its maximum is that of the wisest man in a given group. - Heinlein

Democracy is a poor system;the only thing that can be said for it is that it’s eight times as good as any other method. Its worst fault is that its leaders reflect their constituents —a low level, but what can you expect? - Heinlein

So the poll should be: Who is the wisest man/woman/fansy in the BFC?

Note wisest, not cleverest. Big difference.

As a point of order the additive thing does not always pan out - for example a flock of geese. Stupid as fuck on their own, easy pickings - continent crossing tripwire alarm motherfuckers as a group. Same applies to groups of human to a degree - wisdom is additive, intelligence is not.

I missed your polls like I miss finding a cigarette stub in a can of beer Sri, not pleasant but they help one pay attention.

Both wisdom and intelligence are additive. Also Jesus was a chick with brown eyes.

Excellent. The revolution should start by killing off all the sci-fi writers.

What do you expect from the end product...the far fringes of the Big Bang. Smash a clay pot full of paint against a wall and notice how as you get further from the mass of paint in the middle that the patterns get more and more complex...but it still means nothing.

A truly intelligent person would kill themselves.

I've got to be honest and say I went with the Fuck All option.
I know the law. And I have spent my entire life in its flagrant disregard.
