[quote="RYP"]Yes this is common once you turn the discussion of firearm usage towards actually doing something that might ruin your carpet.

Too bad. If someone has access to a web site with a section and forum for gun discussion and they are able to ask a question, they do not need to be told that asking a question online is not the same as walking into a real live gun shop to ask questions.
Its open season on criminal creeps and escaped mental patients or unreformed ones who try to invade your territory. Whatever you find online to support or detract from any of that is all untested theory. So fs, feel protected and shop and research well.
No one can know you better than your self and a lot of people here know that, but seem more inclined to think that a special regard, fascination or love with guns makes you a smart , likable, trustworthy person. Untrue.
As you said. Anyone can buy a gun. Anyone can shoot one. Anyone can post a question online to seek answers or ask a question. And anyone can answer from their body of experience and knowledge or point to references online or a little mixture of both. Its ALL online learning.
I don't need anyone coming up to me and telling me what my knowledge or experience around shooting guns is. Suppose this actually happened in real life? So theres the conundrum: shooter is still behind computer. Problem is elsewhere.
What are you? Some short sighted trigger puller? - RR3 .
