Things that were once considered immoral are now thought of as acceptable.
Children are having sex at younger ages
in many schools kids are fighting each other in fight clubs as an informal extracurricular activity after school
experimenting with random designer drugs,
watching ultra-hardcore pornography on the Internet.
The common language of todays youth has become reduced to George Carlin's "Seven words you can't say on TV"
It's even to the point where some parents are including themselves in their children's delinquent behavior and encouraging it.
Things were very different when I was a teen, and when my parents were teens
Cheating in school and yes, in post secondary, has become epidemic
so we're quickly entering a world where the person who designed the bridge you're driving over or inspecting the mall roof you're walking under, or is about to prescribe medication to someone you care about, has likely cheated their way into their job title.
Now of course, I'm not here to judge.
Judging stupid or immoral behavior is no longer acceptable in today's society.
In fact, it's getting to be the only thing that still isn't.
What I am wondering is, where do you personally draw the line?
Do you still have a "line"?
If so, how will you react when the next generation or the one after cross it?
Should society attempt to reinforce what shreds of moral structure remain before they too are lost to time?
And if so, how? Or should we simply remove what few barriers are left to people doing whatever they want?
