I must say that I'm a bit disappointed no one has replied with Uranus.

Atka Island, Alaska (Aleutians)

Back around 1980, they'd get a mail boat every few months, although ones like the one I was on occasionally passed by on the way, e.g. to Adak. Has under 100 people. Could be the most remote US normally inhabited settlement.

Wadi Halfa, Sudan

Not that remote but I wished it was even more so.

Wasn't on a mailboat to Atka..bad grammar there. It was a flat-bottomed riverboat used for seafood processing and carrying cargo in the Gulf of Alaska and Bering Sea. We were going to Adak to tear down a factory and bring the useful stuff to Dutch Harbor. Stopped for a few hours at Atka on the way. No trees on Atka and felt like the middle of nowhere. Adak did have one tree with a sign that said Adak National forest on it. I think Adak is west of Midway in longitude.

Another remote place was In Guezzam, border of Algeria and Niger. Just passing through but there was a Turk trying to travel without visas who had been stuck there for some time. His trick of asking border guards to pray with him in return for overlooking passport problems stopped working.

Book a family holiday in the Spratly Islands.
All in, much sort after resort (everyone wants it) & not recognised by commercial pilots as a waypoint.
Send us a post card.

You could work where I do, Prudohe Bay Alaska.
You might need some real job skills unless you want to wash dishes or something.
