Sometime in 2010, I will be taking my first real trip. So my question is, where should I go? I kind of want to go everywhere, so a couple recommendations would be nice. I speak a little Japanese and a little French, but I'm fairly good with languages. Also, what should I pack?
If you know a little French and a little Japanese then you should go to maybe France or Japan. A further recommendation is to go to those places and then venture to a place within those countries that never get tourists, like a small rural place and go there and practice speaking your second or third laguage.
If you speak a little french and want an exotic location without too much danger try Morocco - everything from beaches to mountains to the Sahara Desert, and you can make it as dangerous or as safe as you want. If you want to amp up the pucker factor try Algeria. A little french language knowledge will serve you well in either country.
