The name of the five story Irish pub is the James Joyce. It's owned by an Irish guy married to a Turkish woman. Off of Istiklal Street. It's fun, and the roofdeck is nice.

You are going at a great time for good weather, too.

Should be able to find it. We'll hoist one in your honor.

Yep, you all nailed it. Having a pretty good time...except for a 24 hour flu that decided to use up the better part of two days. Hotel's not all that good, but location is excellent for an old white guy. Kurt suggested the Cistern...good call. Found the James Joyce Irish Pub and hoisted one for Deselby. Haven't hit the military museum, but it's still on the list. Can't complain about the food. Found ouselves in the middle of some sort "labor action" the other day. Some strike or another. Hurriyet said there were 1,000 marchers...I'd say 300 tops and half of them were police.
