Have you been reading Aldous Huxley's stuff lately?

No, neither. I haven't read a Huxley book in over a decade!

Wow - I am getting old.

Either way, I still believe experiencing an altered state of consciousness is a good thing.

a little late on the thread, but just had to get my 10 cents in and recommend AYAHUASCA to anyone interested in this topic. but remember to consume it under the prescribed conditions (some shady shaman dancing and chanting stuff in a foreign language while in a near pitch-black room in the company of other shady unkowns)
highly recommended, I took a bottle back home with me, but never had the same effect afterwards, some possible supernatural forces at play there

This fag saw shit that just plain did not exist on peyote, unlike the other varieties of hallucinogens that just "augmented" shit that was already there. Never again. This white boys ancestors are too fucked to to commune with i guess.

In the appropriately shady conditions in the heart of the jungle, I would try some of that ayahuasca stuff
