lots of peeps like yellowtail; depends on the grape...some are more harsh than others. i think most of the low end CA reds are harsh; you definitely can get destroyed on them but it ain't gonna be a delightful experience. the south american reds are a better bet and usually a better value. most low end whites taste the same; you want to play it safe buy a chard, pinot gris, riesling/gurz, savy blanc...
