How 'bout HAWAI'I's Own Donoho?

Gary Busey, uh.. you know, we psychos experience the hell of the "chemical burn" whenever big-time events come to our towns. In fact, and I speak from recent experience, we psychos experience the hell-fire of the "chemical burn" whenever and wheresoever we may be UNWANTED: from a U2 concert to any given Florida Marlin's baseball game, it's all the same and it seldom matters. "Ye-ow! It burns, it burns!" It's like, "You're in pain so try not to move, Gary. If you walk one block to the Crack-House, the hell-flames will consume you." Hobbled, man! By a flaming, scabby, albeit invisible, chemical fence.

Maybe he's that radio guy Art Bell on "Coast to Coast"...or did the "Dark Forces" finally get his ass?

Musings Within FALSE-CONSCIOUSNESS.

I said, Gary Busey
Means Yes U B R Gay
In ShadowSpeak....

I used to confuse Donald Sutherland's theatrical identity with Elliot Gould's all the time, and, you know, that's funny because they look nothing alike except that they both wore OD GREEN in the movie M.A.S.H.

I can also remember a time, probably the early-to-mid 90s, when you could count the number of black quarterbacks in the NFL on one hand. T'was my favorite sports trivia question, "Who are currently the three starting African-American quarterbacks in the national football league?" That was always easy to answer because their last names all began with the letter "B": Blake, Batch and Banks -- like some fancy law firm.

As for Nolte and Busey, it depends on what movie I think I'm starring in; whether it's 48 Hours or Under Siege -- hell, could be Prince Of Tides while I'm thinking it's the Buddy Holly Story.

I went to a Marlins game in '97. I took a local bus from North Miami Beach to Pro Player. After half an hour I was the only Whitey on the bus - I just sank into my seat and pretended to be dead already. I met some fans outside the stadium who expressed incredulity at my apparent brain-fart - they gave me a lift home after the game in their Suburban - probably thought I was some weird, junky Anglo with too much time in the sun.

The result of the game? The Braves kicked Marlin ass, with John Smoltz smoking every fish that stepped up to bat. The peanuts were good too.

Cheers

The world would be missing out on a cultural treasure if Metallica or the Foo Fighters don't put a guitar riff to that and make it cut 1 on their next CD.

Ba, Ba, Ba-Ba-Ba-Ba, Ba...

Weather 'round here chopping and changing
Surgery in the air
Print shirts and southern accents
Cigars and big hair
We got the wheels, petrol's cheap
We only went there for a week
Got the sun, got the sand
Got the batteries in the handycam...

Her eyes are swimming pool blue
Dumb bells on a diving board
Baby's always attracted to the things she's afraid of
Big girl with the sweet tooth
Watches the skinny girl in the photo shoot
Freshmen, squeaky clean
She tastes of chlorine
(Miami), my mammy

Love the movies babe
Love to walk through the movie sets
Get to shoot someone in the foot
Get to smoke some cigarettes
No big deal we know the score
Just back from the video store
Got the car and the car chase
What's he got inside the case
I want a close up of that face
Here comes the car chase

I bought two new suits... Miami
Pink and blue... Miami
I took a picture of you... My mammy
Getting hot in a photo booth... Miami
I said you looked like a Madonna
You said maybe...
Said I want to have your baby... baby, baby
We could make something beautiful
Something that wouldn't be a problem
We could make something beautiful
Something that wouldn't be a problem
At least not in Miami

You know some places are like your auntie
But there's no place like
Miami, my mammy
Miami, my mammy
(Keys are in the car)
(Miami, my mammy)
Miami, my mammy

(Shake, shake down)

I'm beginning to suspect it's the other way around, not that wsduncanb is Gary Busey but that Gary Busey is wsduncanb.
