Definitely Xmas shoppers.....they always emerge at the same time each year for the Zombie celebration...they are known to be mindless social motherfuckers.

I always dread the mall near Christmas. The way people wander around, you'd figure they were dead already.

....but only brain-dead.

The worst thing is seeing old men being led around by their wives....they might as well have a leash and collar on them.

Hey, that could be why they set Dawn of the Dead in a suburban mall?

I always thought that was a nice idea - the zombies return to their usual haunts, a critique on the vapidity of consumer culture

Independent of this topic I came to exactly this conclusion on Christmas eve. I went into town to give it one last try to buy a specific present that my wife had asked for, but I had had a lot of trouble finding. The City centre was absolutely packed with said zombies wandering through the streets and packing the shops but rather amazingly there were no queues at the cash tills. People, glazed stares, picking up and putting down items at random but not buying. It was bizarre and the zombie analogy was immediate. I got out as quickly as I could.

I hate christmas.

I don't mind Christmass, I just can't stand other people.

Zombie? Haven't you fuckers ever been really drunk before? A Zombie is where the top half of your body feels fine after a skin full of booze, but where the lower half is out of control and you are falling all over the place. Lower half totally intoxicated, top half completely fine.
