2006 Leb shootout leads to B787 delays?

I wonder if the 2006 shootout with Lebanon has anything to do with it?

Worst than you know, UAE holds large chunk of the Boeing contract if memory serves me well - or has this already been scuttled? And Italians HATED us for slipping the leash on Israel at Lebanon as we all know.

many others has...
