I found your advert on pg. 33 in the April 21st issue of USN&WR mentally disturbing. For, lol! I uncovered your magazine's hidden racial bias. When I perused that ad for pbs.org/sundays encaptioned, "Scents To Sensibility", I thought nothing much of it until I continued on with the article, "Chicago's Presidential Classroom: Two Decades In Windy City Politics Shaped Obama's Political Aspirations".
When I held the single sheet of page 34 up to my night-time reading lamplight like an hospital x-ray, I was offended to find our future President posing above the Rev. Wright and in the middle, between, two planets: one of two apes, and another of two maidens of the caucasian persuasion! Lol! Is USN&WR trying to subliminally imply that Sen. Obama is a product of these two "very diverse" worlds? If so, what sly racism! Josef Goebbels would burst a spleen laughing!
Ha, ha!
Sadly, your magazine isn't the first and won't be the last to employ such subtle racist sentiment. Print media runs rampant with these kinds of silly subliminal tricks and dirty advertising tactics -- bawdy black-humor!
I can't be the only subscriber to reveal this. I am convinced that the cryptically-minded, everywhere, are aware of the phenomena. Especially the members of Sen. Barack Obama's staff.
